Last month<\/a>, I asked if Indiana Jones IV<\/i> \u2014 which must<\/i> take place in the \u201950s or \u201960s \u2014 would show how Indy got the daughter that he was living with in the framing narratives of the TV series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles<\/i>, which took place in the \u201990s.<\/span><\/p>\n

And just now, I remembered that I posted an item here last July<\/a> to the effect that Karen Allen told an audience at a screening of Raiders<\/a><\/i> that two of Indy\u2019s old flames might come back in the new film \u2014 and Natalie Portman might be cast as Indy\u2019s daughter.<\/p>\n

But now<\/i>, the latest rumour, via Ain\u2019t It Cool News<\/a>, is that Indy will have a son<\/i> instead \u2014 and he may be played by Shia LaBeouf<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Should we call him Indiana Jones Jr.? Or, since Indy\u2019s real name is Henry Jones Jr., maybe his son would be Henry Jones III?<\/p>\n

Make of all this whatever you will.<\/p>\n
