In one of his recent political columns, Mark Steyn<\/a> mentions the song \u2018Baby, It\u2019s Cold Outside\u2019 and then casually observes that \u201cEsther Williams and Ricardo Montalban introduced it in the film Neptune\u2019s Daughter<\/a><\/i>.\u201d Indeed, not only did they introduce it; it went on to win the Oscar for Best Original Song in 1950.<\/span><\/p>\n

But still \u2026 Ricardo Montalban!?<\/p>\n

Yup, turns out he was playing a character named Jos\u00e9 O\u2019Rourke. Which is kind of funny, because Montalban went on to play the similarly-named Mr. Roarke on Fantasy Island<\/i> (1977-1984).<\/p>\n

And I cannot help but be reminded of this line that he has as the title character in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan<\/a><\/i> (1982):<\/p>\n
