Long enough that I\u2019m still posting updates on projects that I first mentioned here eight years ago.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2006, Darren Aronofsky <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/filmchat\/2006\/11\/darren-aronofsky-tackling-a-biblical-epic.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">first revealed<\/a> that he wanted to make a biblical epic, and while he didn\u2019t say what it was at the time, we all know it now as <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/filmchat\/tag\/noah-2014\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">Noah<\/a><\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly \u2014 and going back even further \u2014 in March 2006 a writer named Demetri Martin sold a pitch for a TV show called <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/filmchat\/tag\/will\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">Will<\/a><\/i>, which was going to centre \u201con an ordinary guy who lives in a world where people\u2019s lives and destinies are being written by scribes in Heaven.
