The River<\/a><\/i> (1951) \u2014 and tonight, for the first time, I found myself getting bored and thinking, \u201cGosh, I would really like to be holding Elizabeth or Thomas in my arms and watching them sleep right now, instead of watching this movie.\u201d I won\u2019t say what movie it was \u2014 reviews and comments aren\u2019t allowed until opening day, etc., etc. \u2014 but I was a little surprised to find myself thinking that.<\/span><\/p>\nIn the past, I have worried that having kids will impede on my work simply because I\u2019ll be spending too much time looking after them to get any writing done.
