Time for yet another article based on my interview<\/a> with Scott Derrickson, director of The Exorcism of Emily Rose<\/a><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This one was written for ChristianWeek<\/a><\/i>, and has been re-posted at CanadianChristianity.com<\/a>. Due to the paper\u2019s long-ish lead time \u2014 long-ish for a newspaper, that is \u2014 I wrote this article within hours of seeing the film, but over a week before the film came out; so this article does not take into account the surprisingly politicized<\/a> nature of some of the secular reviews that came out.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve got another couple articles on this film in the works, but they were written for magazines that have even longer<\/i> lead times, so they won\u2019t be available for another month or so.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, I\u2019ve got another item up at the Canadian site: namely my review<\/a> of the new Amy Grant reality-TV show Three Wishes<\/a><\/i>, which premieres on NBC tomorrow night. One thing I don\u2019t mention is that I\u2019m still figuring out what to make of the official website<\/a>\u2018s repeated reference to the \u201cdeserving people\u201d who are the beneficiaries of Grant\u2019s corporate-sponsored benevolence.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
