\"exodus-DF-02915_2917R\"<\/a>Exodus: Gods and Kings<\/a><\/i> continued to fall down the charts in its fifth week at the North American box office.<\/p>\n

Ridley Scott\u2019s Moses movie earned just $1.1 million this week<\/a>, which represents a drop of 71.2% since last week. That was easily the steepest slide in the Top 20, and the film\u2019s per-screen average of $963 was also the lowest in the Top 20 this week.<\/p>\n

Exodus<\/i> has seen its audience shrink every week since its underwhelming debut<\/a> last month \u2014 even over the holidays<\/a>, when most films get a box-office boost. Despite opening at #1 less than a month ago, this week it landed at #18.<\/p>\n

The film\u2019s domestic total now stands at $63.7 million, and it has earned another $167.1 million overseas, for a worldwide total of $230.8 million.<\/p>\n

That makes it the third-highest-grossing Bible movie of the past few decades both overseas and worldwide, behind The Passion of the Christ<\/i> and Noah<\/i>; in North America, it is also behind the animated Moses movie The Prince of Egypt<\/i>.<\/p>\n
