The newest issue of BC Christian News<\/i> is now online, and with it, a couple of new reviews by me \u2014 all of them briefer than they arguably ought to be, but hey, word counts are what they are.<\/span><\/p>\n

First, there is my regular film column<\/a>, which focuses mostly on Murderball<\/a><\/i>, though it also touches ever-so-briefly on Bad News Bears<\/i>, The Island<\/a><\/i>, Stealth<\/i> and a couple other things.<\/p>\n

Then there is my brief review<\/a> of the first installments in the new DVD editions of Mister Rogers\u2019 Neighborhood<\/a><\/i> and Davey and Goliath<\/a><\/i>. I suppose there\u2019s probably no point in complaining that these TV shows are not<\/i> being released in exhaustive boxed sets like just about every other<\/i> TV show out there these days (not that I would buy them; it\u2019s the principle of the thing). I think it\u2019s especially a shame that only five<\/i> episodes of Davey and Goliath<\/i> were included on this two-disc<\/i> set, given that there were only 65 episodes in total, and most of them are only 15 minutes long \u2014 so it would only take six or seven discs to cover the entire series!<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
