My reviews of this week\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2005\/06\/life-of-married-film-critic.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">bored-married-couple comedies<\/a>, <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianitytoday.com\/movies\/reviews\/mrmrssmith.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Mr. &amp; Mrs. Smith<\/a><\/i> and <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.christianitytoday.com\/movies\/reviews\/honeymooners.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Honeymooners<\/a><\/i>, are now up at CT Movies.  It\u2019s always interesting to see what makes it through the editing process and what doesn\u2019t, especially where publications that cater to an evangelical readership are concerned.  In the latter review, the bit where I quote John Leguizamo promising a dog some \u201cbitches\u201d made it through \u2014 would it have passed muster if he had referred to women and not to female dogs, I wonder? \u2014 but my reference to \u201cfart jokes\u201d has been turned into \u201cflatulence jokes\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>2. The full-length version of <a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2005\/06\/brian-flemming-interview.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">my interview<\/a> with <i>The God Who Wasn\u2019t There<\/i> director Brian Flemming is now up.<\/p>\n<p>3. I wish I\u2019d seen this sooner! The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/arts\/film\/hellerskelter.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">CBC<\/a> has an article on <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0461926\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Cross and Bones<\/a><\/i>, a documentary about the \u201cparadox\u201d of Drumheller, Alberta: \u201cThis town of less than 6,000 is . . . home to the biggest dinosaur cemetery in the world and a hotbed for creationism.\u201d  Apparently it played at a festival in Toronto back in April.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a few links. 1.
