Among other things, the story will reportedly begin in 1989, and Flynn (the Jeff Bridges character) will have a seven-year-old son. Hmmm, the <a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2008\/03\/one-of-first-cgi-movies-now-in.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">original movie<\/a> came out in 1982, seven years prior to that. Who is the boy\u2019s mother, I wonder? \u2014 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aintitcool.com\/node\/40285\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Ain\u2019t It Cool News<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"4\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">4.<\/a> Michael Brandt and Derek Haas have signed on to write the script for <i>The Thirteenth Hour<\/i>, based on a Richard Doetsch novel about \u201ca man accused of murdering his wife who gets to go back in time \u2014 in one-hour increments over 12 hours \u2014 with the chance to stop his wife\u2019s killer.\u201d Sounds kind of similar to <i><a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2008\/11\/newsbites-sci-fi-and-fantasy-edition.html#2\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Days Before<\/a><\/i>, which concerns a guy who goes back in time in <i>daily<\/i> increments. \u2014 <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.variety.com\/article\/VR1118000792.html?categoryId=13\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Variety<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"5\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">5.<\/a> Apparently there is a big spoiler in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.variety.com\/article\/VR1118000704.html?categoryid=13&amp;cs=1\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">this article<\/a> in <i>Variety<\/i>. So let\u2019s just say that, if you read a novel in the last four years and found yourself thinking, \u201cHey, isn\u2019t the premise behind this story, in which people discover that they are clones created for the purpose of organ donation, kind of similar to that Michael Bay movie <i><a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2006\/10\/newsbites-camp-donner-payback-clonus.html#4\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Island<\/a><\/i>?\u201d then you might know which recent novel is about to become a film in its own right. \u2014 <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.variety.com\/article\/VR1118000704.html?categoryid=13&amp;cs=1\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Variety<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"6\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">6.<\/a> Danielle Panabaker will star in Chuck Russell\u2019s <i>Prodigy<\/i>: \u201cIt\u2019s about this high school forty years in the future . . . where [the students] are bred to be the best of the best.
