The Young Messiah<\/a><\/i> had a softer opening<\/a> than expected last week, but the filmmakers have said they hope it\u2019ll stay afloat between now and Easter \u2014 and to that end, they have released a few new promotional videos. Check \u2019em out below the jump.<\/p>\n

First, there is this eight-minute behind-the-scenes video that was apparently shown at private screenings of the film before it came out. It includes soundbites from writer-director Cyrus Nowrasteh, co-writer Betsy Giffen Nowrasteh, producer Chris Columbus, marketing chief Paul Lauer, and actors Adam Greaves-Neal (Jesus), Sara Lazzaro (Mary), Vincent Walsh (Joseph) and Sean Bean (Severus):<\/p>\n
