But for now, that\u2019s just another item on my to-do list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, it seems that someone named <a href=\"http:\/\/www.readthespirit.com\/bondbiblestudy\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Benjamin Pratt<\/a> has written a book on the spiritual and religious themes of the James Bond <i>novels<\/i>, called <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1934879118\/petertchatta\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Ian Fleming\u2019s Seven Deadlier Sins and 007\u2019s Moral Compass: A Bible Study with James Bond<\/a><\/i>.  And at least one church has already begun to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mlive.com\/living\/kalamazoo\/index.ssf\/2009\/01\/the_iconic_james_bond_becomes.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">base a class<\/a> on this book.<\/p>\n<p>I have no idea what the merits of this particular book might be, but I don\u2019t doubt that there could be a lot of what blogger <a href=\"http:\/\/intheopen.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Carmen Andres<\/a> refers to as \u201cGod-talk\u201d in Fleming\u2019s novels.  The first one, <i>Casino Royale<\/i>, devoted an entire chapter to \u2018<a href=\"http:\/\/filmchatblog.blogspot.com\/2005\/10\/casino-royale-take-one-take-two.html#comments\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Nature of Evil<\/a>\u2018 and Bond\u2019s idea that we needed an \u201cEvil Book\u201d to complement the \u201cGood Book\u201d, i.e. the Bible.
