It\u2019s also the seventh-best <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boxofficemojo.com\/alltime\/weekends\/moreweekends.htm?page=3&amp;p=.htm\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">third weekend<\/a> ever.<\/p>\n<p><i>The Jungle Book<\/i> has earned another $432.7 million overseas for a worldwide total of $684.8 million \u2014 well ahead of Disney\u2019s live-action remake of <i>Cinderella<\/i> (2015, $543.5 million) but still a bit behind <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/filmchat\/tag\/maleficent\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">Maleficent<\/a><\/i> (2014, $758.5 million).<\/p>\n<p>The week\u2019s three main newcomers \u2014 <i><b>Keanu<\/b><\/i>, <i><b>Mother\u2019s Day<\/b><\/i>, <i><b>Ratchet &amp; Clank<\/b><\/i> \u2014 all opened softly, between $4.8 million and $9.4 million each.<\/p>\n<p>If audiences and exhibitors seem to be avoiding new releases right now, that could be because they\u2019re waiting for next week\u2019s big blockbuster. <i><b>Captain America: Civil War<\/b><\/i> \u2014 which opens in North America this coming Thursday night \u2014 opened a week early overseas and <a href=\"http:\/\/deadline.com\/2016\/05\/captain-america-civil-war-jungle-book-huntsman-batman-superman-international-box-office-weekend-results-1201747374\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">earned $200.2 million<\/a> in 37 territories this week.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in other box-office news\u2026<\/p>\n<p><i><b>Zootopia<\/b><\/i> grossed $5 million and ranked sixth in its ninth week, thereby raising its domestic cume to $323.5 million. The film has earned another $607.9 million overseas for a global total of $931.4 million, which is still the year\u2019s best worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><i><b>Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice<\/b><\/i> grossed $3.8 million and ranked ninth in its sixth week. After six weeks in theatres, the film has earned $325.1 million \u2014 which is still not yet double the $166 million that the film made in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/filmchat\/2016\/03\/box-office-batman-v-superman-breaks-records-deadpool-becomes-the-top-grossing-r-rated-movie-ever-worldwide.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\">its first weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><i>Batman v Superman<\/i> has earned another $537.8 million overseas for a global total of $862.9 million \u2014 well under the billion-dollar mark the studio was aiming for.<\/p>\n<p><i><b>Miracles from Heaven<\/b><\/i> grossed $525,000 and ranked 16th in its sixth week, for a domestic total of $59.7 million. It has earned another $8.1 million overseas.<\/p>\n<p>There was no estimate for <i><b>God\u2019s Not Dead 2<\/b><\/i> this week. As of Thursday, the film had earned $19.3 million in North America and another $2 million <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boxofficemojo.com\/movies\/?page=intl&amp;id=godsnotdead2.htm\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">overseas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now for a bit of extra data on <i>Zootopia<\/i>\u2019s ranking among <a
