It has been twenty-one years since Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins wrote the first book in the Left Behind<\/a><\/i> series, and over the years, that book has spawned twelve sequels, three prequels, an astounding forty<\/i> spin-off novels aimed at the young-adult market (called Left Behind: The Kids<\/i>), and four feature-length movies.<\/p>\n

Now comes movie number five. Vanished | Left Behind: Next Generation<\/i> doesn\u2019t have any direct connection to the other films \u2014 in fact, I believe it\u2019s the first Left Behind<\/i> film that wasn\u2019t<\/i> co-produced by Peter or Paul Lalonde \u2014 but, like the spin-off novels, it focuses on a small group of teenagers who missed out on the Rapture.<\/p>\n

The film will play in theatres across the U.S. for one night only on September 28. You can buy tickets and look up which theatres are showing the film here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
