The film has earned a total of $24.8 million to date.<\/p>\n<p><i>Rogue One<\/i>, for its part, has earned $477.3 million in North America after four weeks, which makes it the eighth-highest grossing film <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boxofficemojo.com\/alltime\/domestic.htm\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">of all time<\/a> in North America.<\/p>\n<p><i>Rogue One<\/i> has earned another $437.1 million overseas and $914.4 million worldwide. It currently ranks 88th <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boxofficemojo.com\/alltime\/world\/?sort=osgross&amp;order=DESC&amp;p=.htm\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">overseas<\/a> and 41st <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boxofficemojo.com\/alltime\/world\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">worldwide<\/a> on the all-time charts.<\/p>\n<p>Two other films didn\u2019t do so well in wide release this week.<\/p>\n<p><i><b>Underworld: Blood Wars<\/b><\/i> landed in fourth place with $13.1 million \u2014 by far the lowest opening of any film in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boxofficemojo.com\/franchises\/chart\/?id=underworld.htm\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">the <i>Underworld<\/i> series<\/a>. (The four previous films, released between 2003 and 2012, all opened to over $20 million.)<\/p>\n<p>And <i><b>A Monster Calls<\/b><\/i> \u2014 about an imaginary monster that helps a boy to cope with bullies at school and his mother\u2019s terminal illness \u2014 landed outside the top ten, in 13th place, with $2 million after expanding from four to 1,523 theatres.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in other box-office news\u2026<\/p>\n<p><i><b>Sing<\/b><\/i> earned $19.6 million and ranked third in its third week, thereby raising its domestic cume to $213.4 million. The film has earned another $143.5 million overseas, for a global total of $356.9 million.<\/p>\n<p><i><b>La La Land<\/b><\/i> earned $10 million and ranked fifth in its fifth week, thereby raising its domestic cume to $51.7 million. The film has earned another $34.1 million overseas, for a global total of $85.8 million.<\/p>\n<p><i><b>Passengers<\/b><\/i> earned $8.8 million and ranked sixth in its third week, thereby raising its domestic cume to $80.9 million. The film has earned another $104.6 million overseas, for a global total of $185.5 million.<\/p>\n<p><i><b>Why Him?<\/b><\/i> earned $6.5 million and ranked seventh in its third week, thereby raising its domestic cume to $48.6 million. The film has earned another $17.8 million overseas, for a global total of $66.3 million.<\/p>\n<p><i><b>Moana<\/b><\/i> earned $6.4 million and ranked eighth in its seventh week, thereby raising its domestic cume to $225.4 million. The film has earned another $224.7 million overseas, for a global total of $450.1 million.<\/p>\n<p><i><b>Fences<\/b><\/i> earned $4.7 million and ranked ninth in its fourth week, thereby raising its domestic cume to $40.7 million. The film does not appear to have been released overseas yet.<\/p>\n<p>And <i><b>Assassin\u2019s Creed<\/b><\/i> earned $3.8 million and ranked tenth in its third week, thereby raising its domestic cume to $49.5 million.
