1.<\/a> Anthony Hopkins will star in The Rite<\/a><\/i>, based on the book<\/a> about real-life exorcists written by Matt Baglio. The movie will centre \u201con a disillusioned American seminary student who attends exorcism school at the Vatican and ultimately finds his faith through encounters with demonic forces. Hopkins will play a priest who is an expert in exorcisms and whose methods are not necessarily traditional.\u201d \u2014 Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n

2.<\/a> Universal has spent two years looking for someone to turn Sascha Rothchild\u2019s book How to Get Divorced by 30<\/a><\/i> into a romantic comedy about \u201cstarter marriages\u201d. Now, after courting many strangers, the studio has come back to Rothchild and asked her to write the script herself. \u2014 Variety<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n

3.<\/a> The makers of East Is East<\/a><\/i> (1999) \u2014 which concerns a British family led by a Pakistani father and his English wife in the early \u201970s \u2014 are now planning a sequel called West Is West<\/i>, which will be set in Pakistan about five years later. They are even talking about making a third film to round out the \u201ctrilogy\u201d, which begs the question: What will they call it? \u2014 Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n
