Here\u2019s the quirkiest funny movie I\u2019ve seen in years. (If you missed it in the theaters, \u00a0as I did its time to see it now.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat We Do in the Shadows\u201d is the ultimate \u201cmocumentary\u201d reality TV-style feature film (yes they have a sense of humor in New Zealand!) about what bachelor vampires\u2019 lives are really like. If you loved \u201cThis is Spinal Tap\u201d and\/or the original British version of \u201cThe Office\u201d then this movie is for you.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how the New York Times<\/em> described<\/a> the movie\u2026<\/p>\n

Set in modern-day Wellington, New Zealand (the exterior of the vamps\u2019 house is the headquarters of Peter Jackson\u2019s production company), this weird and witty spoof filters the routines of the living through the lens of the long dead. For our gang of ghouls, encounters with passing werewolves \u2014 whose full-moon preparations are ingeniously telescoped into a hilarious aside \u2014 are ultimately less problematic than figuring out how to look good when you have no reflection. Or getting into a hot club without a direct invitation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
