In this video clip Zea\u2013a 7-year-old first grader\u2013stands up to bully\u00a0religious right. The argument he shouted at her could have been taken from the pages of evangelical\u00a0sources and their\u00a0reaction to the Supreme Court decisions on gay marriage. When this preacher began ranting at a child through a microphone, little Zea just\u00a0waved her rainbow flag and never backed down.<\/p>\n

Her dad,\u00a0Ryan Bowling<\/a>, posted this video of the confrontation on YouTube. It took place over the weekend at ComFest, a music and arts festival in Columbus, OH that turned into a celebration of the court\u2019s\u00a0decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cZea didn\u2019t just flash the flag at that hatemonger, and bail. They went toe to toe, for several minutes, while he bellowed all of his fire and brimstone right in her face,\u201d Bowling wrote on Facebook. \u201cGrown man vs first grader. She told me afterward that she did feel scared.\u201d<\/p>\n
