The big, popular movements in today\u2019s Christianity\u00a0remind me\u00a0of a guy who\u00a0nicked\u00a0his\u00a0foot\u00a0while mowing the grass.\u00a0The man\u00a0showed the wound to his wife, and\u00a0she didn\u2019t know\u00a0what\u00a0to do. So he\u00a0thought he better\u00a0get\u00a0down to the\u00a0Emergency Room\u00a0to get it checked\u00a0out.<\/p>\n

So he went to the hospital, walked through the Emergency Room front doors, and when he entered, he was greeted by two more doors. One door was marked \u201cMale,\u201d and the other was marked \u201cFemale.\u201d So he went through the door marked \u201cMale.\u201d<\/p>\n

When he got inside, there were two more doors. One door said \u201cUnder 40.\u201d\u00a0The other door said \u201cOver 40.\u201d\u00a0So he walked through the door marked\u00a0\u201cOver\u00a040.\u201d He then\u00a0found two more doors. One door said\u00a0\u201cUpper Body,\u201d and the other door said\u00a0\u201cLower Body.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He took his\u00a0foot\u00a0through\u00a0the \u201cLower Body\u201d\u00a0door and walked inside. Inside were two more doors. One door was marked\u00a0\u201cInternal,\u201d the other door was marked \u201cExternal.\u201d So\u00a0he went through the\u00a0\u201cExternal\u201d door.<\/p>\n

Inside there were two more doors. One\u00a0was\u00a0marked\u00a0\u201cSerious,\u201d and the other was marked \u201cNot Serious.\u201d\u00a0He\u00a0walked through the door marked\u00a0\u201cNot Serious.\u201d<\/p>\n

And he ended up\u00a0in\u00a0the parking lot.<\/p>\n

When the man\u00a0arrived back home, his wife\u00a0asked, \u201cSweetheart,\u00a0did they help you?\u201d<\/p>\n

He said,\u00a0\u201cNo, but they sure were organized.\u201d<\/p>\n

In\u00a0my experience and observation,\u00a0today\u2019s brand of\u00a0pop-Christianity isn\u2019t\u00a0helping\u00a0as many people as it should or can.\u00a0But\u00a0it sure is\u00a0organized.<\/em><\/p>\n

The good news is that I believe there\u00a0are solutions. So take heart.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll speak more about the\u00a0root problems and remedies in the days to come.\u00a0Today, I just wanted to humor you with this story, which speaks volumes about one of the greatest challenges to the kingdom of God today.<\/p>\n
