You\u2019ve probably already seen that President Obama put out this ridiculous ad today:<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\nBut Sesame Street isn\u2019t too pleased.<\/p>\n<blockquote>Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns. We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down.<\/p><\/blockquote>\nThis morning, Romney spokesman Kevin Madden told reporters, \u201cRight now you\u2019ve got 23 million Americans struggling to find work.\u00a0 I just find it troubling that the president\u2019s message, the president\u2019s focus 28 days from Election Day, is Big Bird.\u201d<\/p>\nThe Washington Post <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/decision2012\/big-bird-emerges-as-campaign-star\/2012\/10\/09\/3d1d22d8-121e-11e2-be82-c3411b7680a9_story_1.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">writes<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>In response, the Romney campaign sent out an e-mail called \u201cThe Clear Choice: Big Ideas vs. Big Bird.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cToday, the Obama campaign showed us that rather than talk about the issues or offer a serious plan to help the millions of struggling Americans, they\u2019d rather talk about Big Bird,\u201d said Amanda Henneberg, Romney campaign spokeswoman.<\/p>\n\u201cThe choice in this election is becoming more clear each day. Four years ago, President Obama said that if you don\u2019t have a record to run on, \u2018you make a big election about small things.\u2019 With 23 million people struggling for work, incomes falling, and gas prices soaring, Americans deserve more from their president.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The world is in trouble, and the President can’t stop talking about Big Bird?
