$\"\"$ <\/a>When I was in high school, my friends Eric and Jamie introduced me to a little 2-hour program on Comedy Central called\u00a0Mystery Science Theater 3000<\/em>. \u00a0I hadn\u2019t fully embraced geek culture yet, so I was a little skeptical that a show 2 hours in length could capture my attention as a young man. \u00a0Oh, how ignorant I was.<\/p>\n

In college, I made some very good friends who also shared a love for MST3K<\/em>, and we would often spend many a late night playing cards, eating horribly bad-for-you food, and watching Joel, Crow T. Robot, Tom Servo, and the rest of the crew cut it up over some of the best worst movies known to mankind. \u00a0My love of editorializing in real time was born.<\/p>\n

Today, I have great news that will make many MST3K<\/em> fans rejoice. \u00a0Partly in celebration of the show\u2019s 25th anniversary, Joel Hodgson (on Twitter @JoelGHodgson<\/a>), creator, writer, and star of the show, will be hosting a Thanksgiving Day tradition \u2014 a Mystery Science Theater 3000<\/em> marathon, taking place exclusively at MST3KTurkeyDay.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The tradition begins on Tuesday, November 26th, with a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) event<\/a>, hosted by Hodgson,\u00a0that begins at 1:00 pm Eastern\/4:00 pm Pacific, and runs for 2 hours.<\/p>\n
