Justin Taylor has a useful post entitled 6 Quotes that Luther Didn\u2019t Actually Say<\/a>.\u00a0 After the jump, see what they are.\u00a0 (To be fair, some of them are close to what he said, as loose translations or summaries.\u00a0 And what he attributes to me on the \u201cwise Turk\u201d quote actually comes from the regular\u00a0 commenter here Carl Vehse, who has done quite a bit of work in tracing such apocryphal quotations.)<\/p>\n

Alleged Luther quote #1:

\nAlleged Luther quote #2:

Alleged Luther quote #3:
