. . .are NOBODY.\u00a0\u00a0 No one in our contest predicted <\/a>that the University of Connecticut would win the NCAA championship.\u00a0 (UConn also just won the NCAA women\u2019s championship!)\u00a0 No one predicted the Final Four.\u00a0 That\u2019s too bad because I worked out a special deal with Warren Buffett <\/a>that the winner of our little pool would win one BILLION dollars.\u00a0 I will give honorable mention credit, which unfortunately receives no monetary reward, to those who predicted ONE of the Final Four:\u00a0 Saddler, Edward Kettner, and Sam P. said that Florida would be in it, and Pete said that Wisconsin would be.\u00a0\u00a0 Since Florida was ranked #1 in the final postseason poll while Wisconsin wasn\u2019t even in the top 10 (#15 in the USA Today poll; #12 in the AP), I declare the best guesser to be Pete!\u00a0 (Oh, and a belated April Fool\u2019s about that billion dollar bit.)<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
