From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/05\/15\/us\/15judge.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Sotomayor\u2019s View of Judging Is on the Record \u2013 NYTimes.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Judge Sotomayor questioned whether achieving impartiality \u201cis possible in all, or even, in most, cases.\u201d . . .She also approvingly quoted several law professors who said that \u201cto judge is an exercise of power\u201d and that \u201cthere is no objective stance but only a series of perspectives.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Let us set aside for the moment the nominee\u2019s politics, her race, and her legal opinions on other issues.  Let us look just at these statements.  I\u2019d like to ask those on the liberal side\u2013particularly tODD, Bass, Bob\u2013if you are OK with that judicial philosophy.  If so, would you be OK with it if a right wing judge held this position?  <\/p>\n<p>If so, what do you do with this verse?: \u201cYou shall do no injustice in court.
