Germany is rejecting applications for asylum from Iranian and Afghan converts to Christianity following \u201ckangaroo court\u201d hearings, according to a Berlin pastor.<\/p>\n

In a letter to supporters<\/a>\u00a0of his ministry sent before Christmas and reported by World Watch Monitor<\/a>, Rev Gottfried Martens, who has baptised more than 1,000 former Muslims accused the \u201calmost exclusively Muslim translators\u201d in the hearings of deliberately falsely translating the converts\u2019 responses to jeopardise their applications.
