Godless in Dixie Is Getting a New Home

Godless in Dixie Is Getting a New Home December 13, 2021

Join me at Only SkyBig news for the future of Godless in Dixie!

After six years blogging on Patheos, Godless in Dixie will soon have a new home on OnlySky, a new multimedia platform aimed at asking “So what’s next?” for those of us who have left our faiths and are wondering what to do with the rest of our lives.

Why the name OnlySky? I’m glad you asked.

Humanism is the search for meaning outside of mythologies and magical thinking. It’s a creative process that begins with acknowledging that nobody seems to be in charge here, so if there are any solutions to the problems we face as a species, it’s going to be up to us to find them. When we look up, we don’t see angels and demons calling the shots, we see only sky.

I’m really excited about this new venture, and I hope you’ll follow me there onto the new platform so you can keep up with what’s going on in our little corner of the atheosphere. The new platform goes live tomorrow on Tuesday, December 14th for subscribers (add your name to the list here) and then it officially launches on January 4th.

You’ll see a lot more multimedia content coming from me along with a number of other writers you may read on a regular basis. Check their respective blogs for upcoming details.

My community of friends has grown so much since moving to Patheos, I couldn’t say enough about how much it has meant to me to be here. Now I hope as many of you as possible will follow me to my new address on OnlySky.

While you’re at it, be sure to follow me on Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | YouTube or else just shoot me an email (godlessindixieblog at gmail) to make sure you get on my mailing list for future updates and links. Be sure also to subscribe to the Godless in Dixie Podcast on iTunes to catch future episodes.
