Here are a few easy craft ideas to help your children get a good taste of Ramadan and to help create\u00a0lasting memories\u2026and maybe even\u00a0start a\u00a0new Ramadan tradition, insha\u2019Allah.<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/em>\u00a0RAMADAN <\/em><\/strong>CALENDARS<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The small\u00a0calendars above\u00a0were \u00a0made using\u00a0 1\/2 sheet\u00a0card stock,\u00a0 reinforcement \u00a0labels,\u00a0star stickers, heart punch, glue\u00a0stick, ribbon\/ yarn for hanging and\u00a0print outs of\u00a0\u201cRamadan\u201d \u201cMTWTF\u201d and the following Quran verse\u00a0:<\/p>\n

\u201cO you who believe! Observing As-Sawm (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious)\u201d (Al-Baqarah- 183)<\/p>\n

As each day\u00a0finishes\u00a0color in the circle or peel it off.<\/p>\n

This calendar was made with printed card stock, circle punch,\u00a0 adhesive letters and glue stick.<\/p>\n

<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0RAMADAN LANTERNS<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \"\"<\/p>\n

The supplies needed for these\u00a0\u201clanterns:\u00a0 LED Tap Lights<\/a>, \u00a0sheet protectors<\/a>, colored tissue paper, star stickers, Elmer\u2019s glue, tape, marker.<\/p>\n

Cut sheet protector to fit the LED light and\u00a0the desired height..glue on torn or cut \u00a0tissue paper pieces,\u00a0add stickers and writing if desired When dry wrap around LED light and\u00a0fasten with tape .\u00a0Reach hand down into\u00a0\u201clantern\u201d and tap it on.<\/p>\n

RAMADAN GIFT BOXES\/BAGS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Decorate gift boxes and bags (found in any craft store) with markers, sparkle foam, letters, stamps, cutouts etc., add a ribbon and and a tag with a greeting. I like UmmLayla\u2019s:<\/p>\n

\u2018Right now Muslims all over the world are celebrating the month of Ramadan. You may know that it is a time of fasting\u2026\u201d found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fill boxes\/bags with candy, cookies or dates and give to your neighbor.<\/p>\n
