But guess what! They are now available through Amazon as hard copy books, too!<\/p>\n<p>Oh, my!\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kingdomofpatria.com\/blog\/?p=348\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">What a project<\/a>! Maps and blogs and radio\u00a0<em>in addition<\/em>\u00a0to the stories themselves, which are good in all the ways that make you remember them long after you\u2019ve put them down.<\/p>\n<p>The books themselves are just as good as I was hoping they\u2019d be. Who needs adult fiction when you can have stories like these? I categorize them middle grade or mom-worthy, you pick.<\/p>\n<p>We meet the characters in\u00a0<em>Stout Hearts and Whizzing Biscuits<\/em>, and when you pick yourself up from laughing at the outlandishness of it all, you\u2019ll be turning the pages (or flipping the screen) so fast you might see a blur. The story is\u00a0<em>good<\/em>. And hilarious.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.patheos.com\/blogs\/sites\/94\/2013\/01\/cover-stoopofmastadonmeadow.jpg\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1379\" title=\"cover-stoopofmastadonmeadow\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.patheos.com\/blogs\/sites\/94\/2013\/01\/cover-stoopofmastadonmeadow-187x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"187\" height=\"300\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The adventure continues in\u00a0<em>The Stoop of Mastadon Meadow<\/em> with a conflict that seems, again, impossible (how did McIrney\u00a0<em>think<\/em> of this?). I tried to hide that I was on the edge of my seat, but there you have it: I was.<\/p>\n<p>I was pretty sure, in both books, that things would turn out okay. But there\u2019s always that worry: does the author think \u201cokay\u201d is the same as I think \u201cokay\u201d is? Will I end up hating life after reading these books?<\/p>\n<p>And do I need a map to find my way around?<\/p>\n<p>No map needed, but you\u2019ll find an interactive one (in colored, detailed beauty) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kingdomofpatria.com\/explore-patria.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">at the website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I feel like maybe it\u2019s cliche to say that these books are wonderful, excellent, and delightful, but they are.
