And not all in one place.<\/p>\n

My big reviews tend to go up at Happy Catholic<\/a>, which is where I live<\/em>. (With a lot of other stuff, natch.)<\/p>\n

My daily comments on books tend to wind up at Goodreads<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I read books to everyone on my podcast, Forgotten Classics<\/a>. (Right now we\u2019re alternating between Genesis, translation and commentary by Robert Alter and Bridge of Birds, a fantasy of ancient China that never was by Barry Hughart. Both under copyright and both being read aloud with permission from the authors \u2026 nice, right?) And then I talk about them when I\u2019m done reading.<\/p>\n

Thanks to my pals, Scott and Jesse, at\u00a0SFFaudio<\/a> (a group blog), I get to score some audiobooks so I can review them there. Sometimes I participate on their podcast. Talking about books<\/a>, of course.<\/p>\n

Scott (from SFFaudio) and I also talk about our favorite books and movies \u2026 and the traces of the One Reality we see in them \u2026 at our podcast, A Good Story is Hard to Find<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So the idea was that if there were one place where I could gather everything together \u2026 from all my heaps of books all over the interwebs \u2026 that would be mighty handy for everyone. Including me, of course.<\/p>\n

Hence the idea of my bookshelf here. (Isn\u2019t that nice of Patheos to give me a spot to pile all this stuff?)<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be putting reviews, comments, podcast links, and all kinds of other bookish stuff here. All books, all the time.<\/p>\n

Some of it Catholic. Some of it not.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s my promise.<\/p>\n

I think we\u2019re going to have fun.<\/p>\n
