Last week, I told you about\u00a0Colorado\u2019s 9NEWS morningKyle Dyer, who\u00a0two weeks ago was bitten in the face\u00a0by a dog<\/a> while interviewing the dog\u2019s owner, Michael Robinson, and the firefighter who rescued the dog after\u00a0he had fallen through the ice.<\/p>\n

Dyer suffered serious injuries\u00a0that required\u00a070 stitches to her face, as well as reconstructive surgery. In an interview this week, she talked about the incident with her morning show co-host, Gary Shapiro.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s\u00a0right when she says the incident could have been much worse. But despite her positive attitude, I\u2019m sure it\u00a0terribly painful and she\u2019ll carry the scars probably forever.<\/p>\n

At the same time, I\u2019m completely impressed by her humor and her spirit:<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know. Everybody was like, \u2018Weren\u2019t you freaking out?\u2019 And I\u2019m like, No cause I just had a feeling, and I still do, that everything is going to be OK \u2026 I just put it in God\u2019s hands and I know he\u2019s taking care of me. And my family is so grateful that everything is going as well as it is.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
