<\/iframe>\n<\/p>Whenever I\u2019m asked what super power I wish I had, flying and invisibility are usually at the top of the list. The ability to just leap into the air and soar like a bird satisfies a deep desire for total\u00a0freedom.<\/p>\nBut invisibility? Now that\u2019s real\u00a0freedom.\u00a0 To be in a room and be able enjoy what\u2019s going on without having to actually participate \u2013 or feel like I\u2019m the obvious wallflower \u2013 would certainly appeal to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patheos.com\/blogs\/heavenlycreatures\/2013\/02\/confessions-of-a-non-recovering-introvert\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\">introverts like me. <\/a><\/p>\nTurns out that might not be such a crazy thought. Right here in my hometown of Rochester, NY, researchers at the University of Rochester have developed a cloaking device of sorts. Using lenses they already had in the lab, the simply found a way to bend light around small object.<\/p>\nTa da!
