In one battle, Israel\u2019s military commander Joab did not know what to do. When he faced a challenging battle, he simply said, \u201cBe strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight.\u201d When he was without an answer, he simply continued on and trusted God to be the answer.<\/p>\n

This principle continues to have merit for today. Many times, we do not clearly know God\u2019s plan for a difficult situation. When this happens, how should we respond? Some suggest to do nothing. Others suggest to take the battle in their own hands. Yet Joab offers a picture of one who continued to move forward, trusting God even when there was no clear answer.<\/p>\n

Today, try Joab\u2019s approach and watch how God responds. Perhaps the Lord is offering a new opportunity to grow in faith, one that will lead to a victory that was unexpected and brings honor to God.<\/p>\n
