I think for most of us, our days are work, at best; and can be nightmarishly hard at their worst. And we do it for years. YEARS! That is, if we are supposedly lucky<\/i> to live a long life. Imagine being a slave in Egypt. You died an old man at thirty. We would like to think today, living today, is different. We have toilets for one thing. Not everyone does. I heard on a documentary the other night in India, twenty percent don\u2019t have an indoor toilet. We won\u2019t even talk about whole continents not having them.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Not sure how they figured that, the second most populous nation on the planet. Did they go around and ask people? That could be an example of hard job-asking people if they have an indoor toilet. Most of us reading this, have most of our basic needs met. We\u2019re not starving or living in the alley like some just a few hundred yards from me this morning. But we have other things in our lives which can be equally as devastating.<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Evil smiles<\/span><\/h3>\n
Things which cook us from the inside. Day in and day out, they are things which can slowly destroy us, our marriage, our life. We contemplate suicide to make it stop hurting. And the Evil One smiles.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We long for a day, even just a few hours, when our prayers manifest themselves into reality. We are actually, in real time<\/em> seeing those prayers take place. I don\u2019t think it is often, we get to see them. I think all our prayers are answered, we just might not like the answer so we say \u2018god didn\u2019t answer our prayer.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Are we, as adults, much different from our children? What if your child comes to you and says \u2018dad-mom, can I cut sisters hair with these scissors?\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cNo, you cannot.\u201d<\/div>\n
\u201cWhy not?\u201d (said in a whiny voice that dogs hear four blocks away)<\/div>\n
\u201cWell, for one, your seven. for another, you did it before and you did a crappy job at it. And for another, you don\u2019t have your beauticians license-it\u2019s against the law.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
God protects us from us, but we don\u2019t necessarily hear His voice or see his hand at every prayer or desire. Most of the time, we are just trying to get through the day.<\/div>\n

\u2026but sometimes, we are given a good day.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes, everything we can think of that we would like to see happen, actually happens for us.<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Maybe things will go well.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes, things go well.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes, things go really well.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes, we actually get to laugh.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes, we get to see things we hoped would happen, happen while we are standing in the middle of it.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes, while standing in the middle of whatever we are standing in, there is no storm, or wind, or WTF moment.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2026not too hot, or too cold.<\/span><\/h3>\n
\n
Sometimes, it\u2019s a sunny day-not too hot or too cold, but fresh air and just a puff of a breeze.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sometimes, there is peace in the heart.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes, peace is so prevalent, we sleep for hours, with no waking of worry.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes, the good day goes into a good night. Then, maybe a good NEXT day.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Sometimes, we get exactly what we asked for. And it is more beautiful than we could even imagine.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Plan<\/span><\/h3>\n
\n
Sometimes, The Plan is allowed to be shown in real time, while we stand hoping against hope it is so.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
And sometimes, we hear the Author, oh so faintly whisper, \u2018How was that?\u2019<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
