I love mornings!<\/span><\/h2>\nAaahhh. Sunday mornings.<\/p>\n
Sunday mornings, in the early morning in the spring, summer, and most of fall, or Sunday mornings not so early in the winter, are perfect times. Yeah, I like candles, what about it? They\u2019re all through the house. I like them and the way they smell. They kind of offset the dogs if you know what I mean.\u00a0 Walmart has them cheap. I have come to the confident decision I enjoy, actually seek out peaceful moments. I was in bed and asleep at midnight on New Years, only to be woken up by small arms fire and what seemed like mortar rounds. It sounded like Baghdad during The Surge. Of course, living in downtown Phoenix, like any other major city has its fireworks issues. But the low lights and soft music, yeah, that works. It is here, I wonder sometimes, if God is in our struggles?<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0We need peaceful mornings.<\/span><\/h3>\nIt gets me peacefully going in the morning. We need peaceful mornings in this world. An afternoon and evening would be nice too. Candles, along with snoring dogs are therapeutic. I don\u2019t know about you, but I have come to discover the sounds of a dog with, apparently, a deviated septum, who snores like a longshoreman in a barracks, is soothing. God is funny. I think I can see him smile and simply saying-and always in a south Texas-cowboy kinda voice \u2018ya like that, don\u2019t-chaw?\u2019<\/p>\n

Then we leave and go to work or simply out into the world. Someone is going to scream at someone else and then post it on TV or some \u2018influencers\u2019 fake homie page he\/she\/them\/it post from their Aunt Yolanda\u2019s basement. The source of the trauma and drama is well known and by ourselves, there isn\u2019t much we can do about it. We can try and all of us do. \u201cI got this,\u201d is the term often used. But we don\u2019t. We have it for a while but it\u2019s like someone baits a hook and lures us in.
