Pixabay<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nreligion peacefully is the one I am most thankful for. In many parts of the world, that right is not afforded to\u00a0countless\u00a0people that also wish to practice their faith freely and openly. This contrast especially deepens my gratitude for the principles enshrined in our Constitution.<\/p>\n
Justice, Peace, and Unity<\/h3>\n
The vision of the founding fathers created a nation where individuals of all faiths can live with dignity and worship freely. This is a gift I do not take for granted. My faith teaches me to love my country; the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, \u201cLove for one\u2019s country is a part of faith.\u201d Inspired by this teaching, I see it as my duty to contribute positively to society and uphold the values of justice, peace, and unity. True patriotism means much more than blind loyalty or mere lip-service, but accountability in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n
American Freedom<\/h3>\n
At a time when our beautiful country faces division and uncertainty, I very respectfully and humbly call on all Americans\u2014especially our leaders\u2014to recommit to protecting the First Amendment rights that make our democracy strong. These rights must be used not just for ourselves but to call out the injustices we see being done to our own citizens. Also, the use of the amendment our founding fathers understood to make first, should be used to support all those who have sought refuge and hope under the promise of American freedom.<\/p>\n
May this Independence Day be a celebration for all\u2014regardless of background or belief\u2014and may we continue working toward a more inclusive and united nation.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
