I have no idea where this comes from, but I thought you\u2019d like it. A Chinese friend told me this one.<\/p>\n

There was a Chinese, American, and European student sitting a class. Their teacher was giving them an essay to write. The teacher aid they had to answer the following question, \u201cIn your opinion, why is there a lack of food in other countries?\u201d<\/p>\n

The American was a little confused so he raised his hand and said: \u201cTeacher, I don\u2019t get it. What does the word mean\u2013\u2013\u2013\u2019lack\u2019<\/em>?\u201d<\/p>\n

The European was equally puzzled. \u201cTeacher,\u201d the student asked, \u201cI too am at a loss. What do you mean by \u2018other countries\u2019<\/em>?\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the Chinese student appeared most disconcerted. He pondered the question and even looked in his dictionary. Nothing. Finally, he asks his teacher, \u201cI\u2019m sorry. I don\u2019t understand. What do you mean, \u2018In your own opinion\u2019<\/em>?\u201d<\/p>\n
