What\u2019s the difference between \u201ctheology\u201d & \u201cChinese theology\u201d?<\/h3>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u00a0This video makes me think of contextualizing theology (as pretty much everything does).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Have you ever noticed that when people talk about theology from around the world, they tend to say things like \u201cAfrican theology,\u201d \u201cChinese theology,\u201d \u201cIndian theology,\u201d or something like that.<\/p>\n<p>However, Westerners don\u2019t tend to add adjectives like \u201cWestern\u201d or \u201cAmerican\u201d in front of their own \u201ctheology.\u201d Many people will simply say they want to be \u201cbiblical.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to this logic, if <em>not having an adjective<\/em> = \u201cbiblical\u201d, then does that mean <em>having an adjective<\/em> before your theology implies you are <em>unbiblical<\/em>?<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align:center\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">If\u00a0<\/span> \u201ctheology\u201d = (biblical) theology,<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align:center\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">then is it true \u2026\n<p><\/p><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align:center\"><span style=\"color:#0000ff\"><strong><em>\u201c_____ <\/em>theology\u201d = (unbiblical) theology?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps we need to reconsider how we think and talk about theology.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center\"><em>What kind of theology do you have?<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What\u2019s the difference between \u201ctheology\u201d & \u201cChinese theology\u201d? \u00a0This video makes me think of contextualizing theology (as pretty much everything does).
