We have a few plans, but I thought I\u2019d solicit suggestions from readers. \u00a0What are your favorite charities? \u00a0More interested in human needs than advocacy groups of whatever kind, and thinking of seeing who\u2019s got a good track record with refugees fleeing ISIS in Syria and Iraq. \u00a0Definitely NOT giving to the Red Cross this year, and hoping to avoid similiar organizations who have lost their way, though it\u2019s not always easy, as the larger an organization is, the more efficient they can be, with economies of scale, but the more likely they are to have lost their original mission.<\/p>\n
