The negotiations with Iran over its stated intention to develop nuclear energy capabilities and its presumed covert intention to build nuclear weapons? \u00a0It worries me a great deal, especially with every new revelation <\/a>that the U.S. negotiating team is not really negotiating with<\/em> Iran but running interference for them to get other countries to accept the deal. \u00a0Every indicator is that Obama is a-ok with Iran getting a bomb as long as he can defer this until he leaves office. \u00a0Heck, based on some reports of his inability to contain his personal dislike for Netanyahu, it wouldn\u2019t even be a surprise if he handed over nuclear weapons to Iran to spite him. \u00a0But I don\u2019t really have anything to say other than, \u201chey, this is really bad.\u201d \u00a0Except maybe \u201cthis is really, really bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Hillary Clinton e-mail issue: \u00a0she destroyed her server<\/a>. \u00a0Destroyed it. \u00a0Even Nixon didn\u2019t destroy his tapes. \u00a0It\u2019s deeply disturbing. \u00a0I\u2019ve read that she could be prosecuted for obstruction of justice because the timeframe suggests that this destruction happened after the subpoena was already issued, though I don\u2019t know if a subpoena from Congress has the same legal force as in a criminal case \u2014 and she was not under criminal investigation, and, so far as I know, no one believes that her e-mails would show criminal misconduct so much as callous indifference to the Americans in Benghazi and pursuit of her own political power at the expense of the national security\u00a0of the country. \u00a0What\u2019s more disturbing is, ultimately, that Democrats still defend her, saying, \u201cthese were her personal e-mails\u201d and disregarding the fact that she used this very server for her e-mail correspondence as Secretary of State, and only turned over to the government printouts of those e-mails which she chose to provide \u2014 and when I say \u201cDemocrats\u201d I mean as much comments on blogs and articles as the pundits themselves.<\/p>\n

The Religious Freedom Restoration Act in Indiana. \u00a0Read The Federalist<\/a>, and Ann Althouse<\/a>. \u00a0Yes, Democrats\/\u201dprogressives\u201d want to have it both ways: \u00a0protecting the religious freedom of groups they favor but not those they oppose. \u00a0And it\u2019s shocking to see the short memories of people like Obama and the administration. \u00a0And the boycotts? \u00a0It\u2019s ludicrous. \u00a0But you all know that already.<\/p>\n

And \u2014 last on the list is the usual \u201creport from home\u201d after another visit back to my parents\u2019 during the kids\u2019 spring break. \u00a0Yes, my husband did the taxes, and managed some general oversight of their finances, and I cleaned out the fridge and the kitchen, in general, and helped with some of the other piled-up housework. \u00a0But Dad is doing worse than before, and Mom is able to make it from day to day but not more than that. \u00a0So no good answers here, either.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
