23. \u00a0January 21, 2015, \u201cThe logic of childcare tax credits<\/a>,\u201d in which I discuss the fact that there is a net benefit to the government in getting more women into the workplace, so long as the child-care subsidy doesn\u2019t exceed their total taxes, because very few of the federal government\u2019s expenditures are in any way tied to income, and that this incentive exists regardless of whether or not having small children in full-time childcare is right or wrong for families themselves.<\/p>\n

24. \u00a0January 22, 2015, \u201cNot Puparazzo, but . . .<\/a>\u201d in which I posted some pictures my son drew with his Christmas-present oil pastels. \u00a0Not only are the pictures cute, but immediately after posting this, I was linked to by instapundit.com with the pithy comment, \u201cAn interesting blog<\/a>,\u201d which brought a boost in pageviews and, not long afterwards, the invitation from Elizabeth Scalia to blog at Patheos.<\/p>\n
