And another destination courtesy our longer stay in London: \u00a0Camden Market<\/a>, a funky (and very large) shopping area, with shops catering to the goth\/steampunk crowd as well as second-hand shops, followed by a ride on a canal boat. \u00a0As described in my original blog post<\/a>, we took the canal waterbus<\/a> from Camden Market to Little Venice, only to discover that Little Venice doesn\u2019t have much to say for itself, just one stretch where you can walk along the canal, and, had I known that, I would have done the reverse \u2014 tube to Little Venice, then waterbus, then explore the Camden Market area.<\/p>\n

The day was overcast \u2014 it even started with a bit of rain just as we walked out the Tube station, which spooked us, since it wasn\u2019t in the forecast and we left the umbrellas at home, so we bought two cheap Union Jack umbrellas at the first touristy souvenir store we passed by. \u00a0And as soon as we paid our money, the rain stopped, and never came back, but did mean the pictures are all a bit grey.<\/p>\n
