We\u2019re very behind in our summer vacation planning (late July\/early August). The thought is that the corvette plant in Bowling Green has a minimum age of 7 for its factory tours, which means this is the first year our youngest son is old enough to do this. So our itinerary includes: <\/p>\n
Mammoth cave
Corvette plant tour
The Parthenon (in Nashville) <\/p>\n
But we\u2019re clueless about how to round this out and where to stay; I had hoped to find some kind of cabin\/cottage rental in the surrounding area, even on a farm, but there doesn\u2019t seem to be much there, and I\u2019m not especially excited about staying in a generic hotel, or over-paying. I used to like the idea of a Bed & Breakfast until I learned that they\u2019re really only for couples, not families. <\/p>\n
