It\u2019s like Cinnamon\u2026 only <em>MORE Cinnamon<\/em>\u2026 nothing like a spicy | sweet | sassy | red spice. There are some times I can\u2019t get enough of Cayenne. I hope I never run out.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">At times, I do random song lists. This isn\u2019t so random. There\u2019s a method to my Bible reading lately.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">I\u2019m utilizing the <em>read-through-the-Bible-in-a-year<\/em> program in the indexes of the <em>Fresh Start Bible, Gateway Publishing, NLT.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #b3b140;\">Bible reading tips &amp; tea time recipes for the day<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">However, I\u2019m tracking with the Scripture references from my Pastor\u2019s sermon on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\">There\u2019s always the main Text and then some supplementary Texts, so you usually have to pay attention to pick up on them.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\">I always start by reading the day-plan with all the readings for the main Text. <em>Gateway<\/em> put this plan together really well, because there\u2019s an <em>OT<\/em> reading, a <em>Psalm<\/em>, a thought from <em>Proverbs<\/em>, and a <em>NT<\/em> reading each day. However, the themes are so well interwoven with the <em>Fresh Start<\/em>, I\u2019m able to always get some context for the main.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\">After the main, I spend the next days reading the day-plans for each supplementary Scripture from the sermon.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">I think I\u2019m doing pretty good, so I run it by one of those Bible reading gurus at church, you know the type. After he listened intently with a little curiosity to make me feel good about myself, he said he reads about 10-15 chapters a day and he\u2019s read through the Bible 7 times. He doesn\u2019t follow a plan. He just picks up where he left off\u2026<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">no study\u2026<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">just repetition!<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">BTW repetition is at the very heart of the Hebrew Bible definition and flow for the term <em>meditation<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">After piquing his curiosity for a brief moment before <em>he schooled me<\/em>, I\u2019ve started posting a Scripture from the day on <em>Facebook<\/em> or <em>LinkedIn<\/em>. Sometimes I pique someone else\u2019s curiosity. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see they are doing what God wants\u2026<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">*or\u2026<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">they can see God at work in what he is doing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #b3b140;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #b3b140;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John+3.19-21&amp;version=NLT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" class=\" decorated-link\">John iii.19-21, NLT<\/a> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #b3b140;\">Jesus &amp; Nicodemus<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Together we walk toward the light<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">Or we hide in our subgroups in the dark<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">Fear of vulnerability, that\u2019s all<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">Christians or nonbelievers<\/span><br>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">Same processes<\/span><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Well I only have 1 more show of <em>The Chosen<\/em>, season 1. Nicodemus is making me cry all along. It\u2019s been so good to watch a show where \u201cwhosoever will\u201d has an opportunity to walk alongside Jesus &amp; Co.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">I think I\u2019ll start watching reruns of <em>Downton Abbey<\/em> now where you have to be on certain levels\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">in certain rooms\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #b3b140;\">in certain classes or castes\u2026<\/span><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">and with certain people to access really important people and make really significant decisions\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">probably more important than Jesus &amp; Co.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">They all act like Christians though.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">I\u2019m glad it\u2019s British <em>HISTORICAL<\/em> fiction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">It seems like the same difference in a lot of places today with the little ways people get used to operating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">It is what it is\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">isn\u2019t it?<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Or it is what we try to make it.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #b3b140;\">BONUS!<\/span><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>Tea Time | orange &amp; sugar infused H&amp;C Tea<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"late Tea Time | orange infused #shorts\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QTeL9LuHlYs\" width=\"339\" height=\"603\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I always start by reading the day-plan with all the readings for the main Text.
