Desperate for help, Joseph Sheldon Hutcheson parked his truck on the curb of the Lew Sterrett Justice Center in Dallas and ran inside. Upon entering, Hutcheson screamed, \u201cDon\u2019t hurt me, I just need some help.\u201d The deputies tackled him. As Hutcheson screamed that he couldn\u2019t breathe, a witness described one deputy restraining Hutcheson with \u201ca knee on his<\/em> back\u201d and another deputy restraining him \u201cwith a knee on his<\/em> throat.\u201d Hutcheson\u2019s face turned from white to blue. Around 11:30am, Joseph Sheldon Hutcheson was pronounced dead. Of course, authorities responded to the tragedy by releasing Hutcheson\u2019s criminal background and speculating that they could see narcotics in his truck. Unfortunately the Dallas County Sheriff\u2019s Department forgot to answer one question\u2026 How does someone rush into a jail asking for help and end up being killed?<\/p>\n
