This afternoon the IHM Homeschool Conference opens<\/a>\u00a0in Charlotte, NC. \u00a0Carolina-region folks, go to it if you can. \u00a0It\u2019s free, so you can do as much or as little as you are able. \u00a0This is a fantastic event \u2014 quiet, not overwhelming, with a retreat-like quality you can only get at a site like Belmont Abbey. \u00a0\u00a0Fr. Dwight Longenecker<\/a><\/strong> has two slots today (Friday) and Dale Ahlquist<\/a><\/strong> stars tomorrow (Saturday). \u00a0How can you not want to go?<\/p>\n

Something cool to know about:<\/strong> Last year after this conference, some of the attendees from South Carolina decided it was time to end the internet silence and make it possible to find out that there were in fact Catholic homeschoolers south of the border. \u00a0Three lay-people run sites to know about:<\/p>\n
