By Steve McCoy:
1. One book that changed your life: D. Bohoeffer, The Cost of Discipleship. I read it in college and it has haunted my life. I’ve read most of it in German as well, and am moved everytime I touch the book.

2. One book that you’ve read more than once: E. Hemingway, Old Man and the Sea. An epic struggle; elegant prose.
3. One book you’d want on a desert island: C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity. I constantly am reading a page or two.
4. One book that made you laugh: A Thurber Carnival. Thurber was a companion to EB White in the glory days of The New Yorker and I split my sides laughing at him.
5. One book that made you cry: E. Wiesel, Night. Don’t touch this book until you are ready. Especially moving if you’ve been to a Konzentrationslager in Germany.
6. One book you wish had been written: Apostle Paul, “How Kingdom in Jesus relates to Church in My Theology.”
7. One book you wish had never been written: A. Hitler, Mein Kampf. The mind of demented soul.
8. One book you’re currently reading: C. Bryan, Render to Caesar. Biblical stuff with political implications.
9. One book you’ve been meaning to read: J.D. Zizioulas, Being as Communion. A famous Orthodox thinker on relationality.
10. Tag 5 others: John Frye, Ted Gossard, Joel Willitts, Jim Martin, Bob Robinson, Fr. Rob. I don’t know if I’m supposed to e-mail you or just hope you read this. So, I’m counting on you reading this and posting your answers.
