Almighty Father who gave your only Son to die for our sins and to rise for our justification: Give me grace so to put away the leaven of malice and wickedness, that I may always serve you in pureness of living and truth; through Jesus Christ your Son my Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. \u00e2\u20ac
\nThat opener is important: Good Friday and sin, Easter Morning and the final empowerment to be right with God, others, and the world.
\nJustification, however, doesn\u2019t solve it all: we need the grace of God to be empowered to live a holy life.
\nI like this expression: \u201cpureness of living and truth.\u201d Or, one might put the two together: pureness of a living truth, of a true life.
\nGood prayer \u2014 it will carry us this week morning, midday and evening.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
