\nFlesh-faced people are set on the flesh; Spirit-faced people are set on the Spirit (8:5).
\nFlesh-faced people move toward death<\/strong>; Spirit-faced people move toward life and peace <\/strong>(8:6).
\nFlesh-faced people are hostile to God (8:7).
\nFlesh-faced people do not submit to God\u2019s Torah (8:7).
\nFlesh-faced people cannot please God (8:8).
\n\u201cFlesh-faced\u201d and \u201cSpirit-faced\u201d is my rendering of \u201csetting the mind on.\u201d Their mind and face and motion are oriented in that direction. As Wright points out, the thinking process here is more than just mental; it is the who orientation.
