Smart Cover<\/a> and got the red leather one with my iPad 2 on launch day.<\/p>\nIt mostly works as described, but I\u2019ve been disappointed in a few areas\u2026.<\/p>\n
I knew going into it that the back of the iPad 2 would be unprotected by the Smart Cover. In practice, I find that I\u2019m overly paranoid about it getting scratched by grit on flat surfaces, such as a grain of sand on a table, so I don\u2019t feel comfortable setting it down on most such surfaces. \u2026
\nThe bigger issue, though, is the practicality of actually using the iPad with the Smart Cover.<\/p>\n
The auto-unlock is nice, and I love the minimal bulk, but it seems like it wasn\u2019t designed to stay attached while you\u2019re\u00a0holding<\/em> the iPad, because there\u2019s no great way to hold it.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"OK, iPad readers.
