There is a danger in some circles to equate Bible with God, and that leads (almost inevitably) to bibliolatry. Most, however, who equate God with Bible are simply using careless language. \nIt is God speaking to us through and in and with Scripture.
\nNotice these words and ponder how Scripture is God speaking and teaching us in and through Scripture:
\nTeach me, LORD<\/em> (Yahweh) \u2014 v. 33.
\nGive me\u2026 that I may keep your<\/em> law \u2014 v. 34.
\nDirect me \u2026 in the path of your<\/em> commandments \u2014 v. 35.
\nTurn \u2026 toward your<\/em> statutes \u2014 v. 36.
\nTurn \u2026 preserve .. your<\/em> word \u2014 v. 37.
\nFulfill your<\/em> promise so that you<\/em> may be feared \u2014 v. 38
\nTake away \u2026 for your<\/em> laws are good \u2014 v. 39.
\nHow I long for your<\/em> precepts \u2014 v. 40.
\nIt\u2019s all pretty simple: Scripture is God\u2019s communication with God\u2019s people, for God\u2019s people, and designed so God\u2019s people may glorify God in this world of ours.
