\nO best consoler; sweet guest of the soul; sweet refreshment.
\nIn labor, rest;
\nin heat, coolness;
\nin tears, solace.
\nO blessed light, fill the deepest places of the hearts of the faithful.
\nWash what is dirty;
\nwater what is arid;
\nheal what is wounded.
\nBend what is rigid;
\nwarm what is cold;
\nmake straight what is devious.
\nGive to your faithful, who trust in you, the sevenfold gift.
\nGive the reward of virtue;
\ngive the final end of salvation;
\ngive eternal joy.
